After dinner Essex transforms into the ultimate nightlife destination, hosting massive late-night parties on weekends that promise unforgettable moments and electrifying ambiance.  For those seeking a midweek escape, our legendary Happy Hour features specials on cocktails and bar bites as well as $1.50 Oysters. Oyster aficionados flock to our Thursday Mega Happy hour with Dollar Oysters all night. 

HISTORY

With a rich legacy spanning over 25 years, Essex is an integral part of Lower East Side history.  Originally located in the Essex Street Market,  Essex embarked on a new chapter in 2019, relocating to the century-old Schapiro's Winery.

Our soaring new multi-level space has private and semi-private rooms for parties of 25 to 250 guests, including our mezzanine with a full-service bar.   Whether it's an intimate gathering, engagement party, bridal shower or a corporate affair, our versatile spaces cater to every occasion.
