Essex is located on the southeast corner of Essex and Rivington Streets in the historic Essex Street Market building, two blocks south of Houston Street and Avenue A (note that Avenue A turns into Essex Street south of Houston Street). Our entrance is on Rivington Street. There is a municipal parking garage on Essex Street, directly across from the restaurant.
Take the F, J, M or Z train to the Delancey/Essex Street Station. Use the exit for the north side of Delancey. Walk up Essex Street to the Rivington Street entrance to the market building.
